As musicians passionate about health and wellbeing, we enjoy sharing peace and positivity through music and sound. We hold live events, an offering we call Sonic Spa, creating a space to relax and rejuvenate. We intuitively craft ambient soundscapes designed to soothe and bring tranquility. Combining ethereal vocals, an array of world instruments, ambient bass tones and melodies, we create a rich landscape of heavenly musical texture, performed alongside our own delicately created soundtrack featuring natural sounds spanning, ocean waves, trickling streams, soothing birdsong and desert winds. This is delivered live during our sessions via radio headset, providing a personal cocoon of sonic nourishment, a fully encompassing experience, minimising distraction so you can relax deeply. At our events, we follow this with a more traditional sound bath using hand crafted Nepalese gongs, singing bowls and chimes, finishing with poetry and and often complimentary tea and cake.

Sound bath……… sound immersion? Maybe you've not heard these terms before or had the pleasure of the experience they describe. At a sound bath or sound immersion, instruments with healing qualities are used to bring restorative peace and relaxation. It's not necessarily a ‘musical’ experience, in contrast to the meditation music we offer for the first half of our sessions. A soundbath focuses more on specific frequencies and sometimes rhythm. The low and deep vibrations of a large gong are very powerful and grounding. The soft tinkle of windchimes and instruments creating higher frequencies are uplifting and ‘airy’. We use a mixture of both. Sound has the theraputic power to calm and soothe. It can help with stress, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure and much more BUT is not a replacement for medical care and may not be suitable or enjoyable for everyone.

We use a variety of different themes at our events, bringing something new with each one, keeping things fresh and celebrating different times of the year.

Sonic Spa Sessions

What to bring to a Sonic Spa session

Some of our venues provide yoga mats and at a ‘Floating Sonic Spa’ we use hammocks. Where these items aren't available we ask that you bring something soft to lay on or a reclining chair. We suggest a yoga mat, pillow and a blanket. Please feel free to bring something to drink and keep your self hydrated during the session.

Please arrive before the event starts as we close the doors to protect the peace of our guests during a session.

As we use electro magnetic radio waves, our events may not be suitable for people with older pacemakers.

Disclaimer: The deep frequencies of the gong are very powerful, providing many health benefits but may affect some people negatively. Anxiety can be triggered and trauma stored in the body can be activated for those with mental sensitivities. Deep vibrations and resting on the floor may be unsuitable for those who are pregnant. We ask that you consider these important notes before booking and take precautions if necessary.

We can come to your home or an event you're holding too!

We're available to book for private and corporate events and sessions at your home too. We can share our offering via radio headset at events for up to 30 people. We cater for numbers above this with the use of a PA system, using microphones and speakers. We ask that you consider the space in which you'd like us to perform, making sure there is enough room to accommodate our equipment and all your guests and also that the space is quiet and easily accessible for loading equipment. Contact us below to discuss your requirements.

Testimonials

Jilly & Stu came to my home to perform a sonic spa evening. What an amazing night we all had, the sound takes you into another level of relaxation. Jilly used crystal bowls to perform their Oceanic Dreams piece, along with her amazing vocals & Stu making the bass guitar dance. As we bathed in the magical sound the evening was finished with a poem marking international women’s day. The feedback was amazing we all had the best night's sleep. Jilly & Stu are absolutely fabulous at what they do, the experience stays with you. I truly can’t wait to experience these feeling again, thank you so much!

Recently I attended 'Arabian Dreams' Sonic Spa a live sound healing event by Sonic Enchantment held in Wakefield. The session offered an immersive and deeply relaxing experience, combining live instruments, storytelling and ancient tonal patterns, all delivered through personal headsets. The result, a gentle decent in to stillness, rest and reconnection. From the first tones, delicate brass bells, the hum of desert wind and the warm resonance of bass guitar played in the style of the oud. The experience felt layered and intentional. As the soundscape built it moved in to hypnotic percussion before softening in to a traditional gong bath, known for it's deeply grounding vibrations. The entire experience was spacious, sensory and calming to both body and mind.
